A school bag is the item a student carries in their hand or on their back most during the day. A bag given at enrolment also takes the school's name around among families. In our workshop in Konya Karatay we have been making backpacks and similar bag models without intermediaries since 2013; for institutional jobs such as enrolment gifts, sports clubs or course bags, we add your school name and logo by printing.

Who Orders School Bags in the Name of an Institution?

Private schools and colleges give bags to newly enrolled students as a welcome gift. Tutoring centres, study centres and summer schools do the same at the start of the term, and sports clubs and courses do so for their athletes and trainees.

Sometimes the bag is given on its own, sometimes alongside a stationery set or clothing. Whichever the case, because the student uses the bag both at school and outside school, the school name stays visible throughout the week. Knowing who will give the bag, how many people it will be distributed to and how many age groups there are makes the recommendation clearer.

Zip, Drawstring and Lunch Bag

The category has three basic forms. A zip backpack with a carry handle is the classic choice for daily school supplies. The mouth of a drawstring backpack closes with a cord; it is practical for light use such as PE lessons, courses or trips, and also gives good results with one-colour printing.

The neck-strap school lunch bag is a smaller model intended for lunch and small items. It is also possible to have all three forms prepared with the same school name and give them as a set.

Choosing Size by Age Group

The size is determined by the student's age and what they will carry. In the younger years a notebook, pencil case and lunch box are enough, so a small, light model suits. In the later primary years, middle school and high school the number of books and notebooks increases, and a larger bag with a wider interior volume is needed.

It is also important that the bag does not end up too big for the child's height. If you tell us which grades you will distribute to, we recommend the size accordingly; if there are several age groups, we can prepare two separate sizes with the same print.

How Do You Judge Strap and Back Comfort?

In a bag carried every day, the width and softness of the shoulder strap, the structure of the surface touching the back and the layout of the inner compartments come to the fore. Especially for older students carrying heavy books, details such as soft straps and a padded back are decisive.

Because these details change by model, we settle the structure of the model you choose together at the quote stage; we do not make promises without knowing what each bag has. If you want to see a sample of the bag you like, just mention it at the start.

School Name and Logo Printing Methods

If the school's emblem is one or two colours, screen printing gives a result that is both sharp and economical, and is also suitable for high quantities. If you will use a colourful image that appeals to children, a mascot or a photograph, digital printing is more appropriate. Embroidery is also possible for a small emblem with clean lines.

The print area can be on the front of the bag or on its pocket. If you want to add a phone number or social media account along with the school name, the area has to be planned from the start.

Order Plan Before the School Year

In school bag orders the date is decisive: the bags must be in your hands before enrolment or the first day of lessons. If you write the distribution date and the number of students in your first message, we set production and shipping according to that calendar.

The price is not fixed but set by quote; quantity, the size and material of the bag and the number of print colours have an effect. The process runs in the order of quote, design and approval, production and printing, inspection and shipping; the bags are sent to your school by tracked courier or freight and a corporate invoice is issued.
