Where Is a Drawstring Backpack Used?

What defines the drawstring backpack is the cord at its mouth. Pull the cord and the bag closes; put it over the shoulders and it becomes a backpack. Because the weight is spread evenly across both shoulders, it is more comfortable than a bag carried by hand.

Choosing Fabric and Size for a Drawstring Backpack

Most drawstring backpacks are made from light-weave cotton fabric; there are raw cotton and coloured fabric options. For size, a wide model suits sportswear and towels, while a narrower one suits small gift sets or children's use. In clubs and schools, the drawstring bag is most often used to carry kits, towels, shoes and school supplies. On a bag given to athletes at the start of the season or to students at registration, the club name, emblem and colours stand out. If you want the bag in your team colours, just tell us the fabric colour from the start.

How Are the Logo and Print Area Planned?

Because the front of the drawstring backpack is flat and wide, a logo, club name or slogan fits comfortably. For one- and two-colour designs, screen printing gives a sharp result and stays economical at high quantities; for colour or photographic images we recommend digital printing. The decision between one-sided and two-sided printing is stated separately in the quote.

Keeping the print away from the mouth area where the cord passes and placing the logo close to the middle of the bag keeps it legible even when the bag is full. Send your design as a vector file and we will make it print-ready and submit it for your approval.

Drawstring Backpack or Cotton Pouch?

The two products look alike but are used differently. A cotton pouch is carried by hand or over the shoulder thanks to its handle and is mostly preferred for shopping and documents. A drawstring backpack, on the other hand, is worn on both shoulders, closes by the cord at its mouth and leaves the hands free.

While a cotton pouch suits a customer who will carry goods in a store or at a trade show, the drawstring model is more comfortable for active use such as sport and walking. How Do Wholesale Orders and Pricing Proceed?

The price of a drawstring backpack is set by quote, not by a fixed list. Order quantity, fabric type, bag size, print method and number of colours directly affect the price. In the same model, a one-colour print and a multicolour print give a different result.

Sending the model and quantity is enough to start the quote process; you can fill in the form or call us by phone. After the design is approved the bags are produced and printed, and products that pass inspection are shipped by tracked courier or freight. If your event date is known, share it and we will sequence production accordingly.
