Frequently Asked Questions
What people most often want to know about quotes, printing techniques, custom design and shipping.
General
Promotional bag prices vary according to the type of fabric chosen (such as imperteks, canvas, nonwoven or raw cotton), the printing details (number of colours, print area), the size of the bag and the order quantity. Because we are the direct manufacturer, we prepare a quote that suits your needs and combines quality with an affordable cost.
We apply your logo using screen printing, embroidery or digital printing. The right technique depends on the fabric, the number of colours, the quantity and the level of detail in the design. We choose the most suitable method together with you at the quote stage.
Yes. You can customise details such as size, fabric type, number of pockets, gusset and handle type to suit your needs. If you have a sample or an idea, just share it with us.
We make ultrasonic-welded nonwoven bags, cotton tote bags, raw cotton tote bags, paper bags, nonwoven bags, drawstring backpacks, trade show bags, document bags, hotel and beach bags, school bags, bags for jewellers, opticians, pharmacies, patisseries and clothing stores, as well as promotional wallets and kitchen aprons.
We issue invoices for corporate orders; the company name, tax office, tax number and invoice address are enough. If the invoice address differs from the delivery address, write the two separately. If you provide the details when requesting a quote, there is no need for corrections later; if any item is missing, we will complete it together during the quote discussion.
Order and Delivery
You can fill in the Get a Quote form on our website, call us on 0332 342 68 38 or message us on our WhatsApp line. By adding the models you choose on the product pages to your quote list, you can request a quote for several products in a single form.
After receiving your request, we prepare a quote; we then get your design approval for logo placement and sizes. After approval, production and printing take place, and following the final inspection the bags are packed and shipped.
Yes. We ship to all provinces across Turkey from our workshop in Konya. You can find information specific to your province on our Service Areas page.
Our company, Karaca Promosyon Çanta Ltd. Şti., issues official invoices to corporate customers.
An order starts with a quote request; because the price is set by quotation, the process moves forward with the request and the approved quote. You can fill in the Get a Quote form or write by phone or WhatsApp. The form asks for full name, company, phone, email, delivery province and estimated quantity; product type, size, print colours, requested delivery date and logo file are optional. Once you approve the quote, design approval, production and shipping follow in order.
We do not publish a fixed minimum quantity on the site; because this value varies by product, fabric, printing method and size, it is settled at the quote stage. Write the quantity you are planning, or an approximate range if it is not certain. If you are considering a small-quantity job, say so clearly in your request; whether it is possible, and on what terms, will be told at that stage. As quantity increases, the unit cost is generally affected, but the proportion differs by printing and size.
We do not give an exact number of days; the time depends on the quantity, size, printing method and how quickly design approval arrives, and is settled at the quote stage. Because production begins after approval, the schedule shifts if approval is delayed. If you have a job tied to an event or campaign, fill in the requested delivery date field in the Get a Quote form, so that we can discuss this date from the outset.
You are free to ask for changes before design approval; the draft is corrected according to your feedback. The approved draft forms the basis of production, and production does not begin without your approval. Whether a change can be made after approval depends on what stage the job is at. So before giving approval, check the spelling, colours, logo placement and size once more, ideally together with someone else.
For urgent jobs we do not give a time commitment; whether it is possible depends on the quantity, the printing method and the workload at that moment, and is settled at the quote stage. For jobs with a tight schedule, the most important step is to state the requested delivery date in the first message; writing by phone or WhatsApp shortens the correspondence. If you send the logo file, size and print colour clearly from the start, the preparation and approval rounds are reduced.
Payment terms are provided with the quote; we do not publish a fixed payment plan on the site. As we do not give a written value on method and timing, you can add it as a note to your quote request or ask by phone or WhatsApp. Invoices are issued for corporate orders; sending your company name and tax details from the start makes it easier to settle the payment and invoicing steps together.
Because shipment is made by tracked courier or freight, you can follow the transport process once the shipment has set off. You can ask about the status during production through the channel where the quote correspondence took place, that is, by phone, WhatsApp or email. Ask at the quote stage how the tracking information will be sent to you; keeping the order correspondence through a single person also keeps the information together.
Just send a new quote request; say that you want the same product as in the previous order, and write the product name, size, fabric and printing details. If the quantity, size or print colour is changing, add that as well, because the quote is prepared anew for each request. Sending the logo file again avoids confusion. If there is a change to the design, the new draft is submitted for your approval again.
Yes, you can request more than one model in a single quote request; in the detail message, write the product type, size, fabric, printing and quantity for each model on separate lines. The price is based on each model's quantity, size and number of print colours. It is also possible to request the same design in different sizes; whether the models will ship together or separately is settled in the quote.
We do not publish a fixed tariff for shipping; because the shipping method is planned according to quantity and delivery address, the amount is settled at the quote stage. In general, carriers charge by the volume, weight and distance of the package; for high-quantity shipments, volume can be the deciding factor because the fabric thickness increases the carton volume. Ask separately in your request whether the cost is included in the quote.
Yes, bags are sent from our workshop in Karatay, Konya, to all 81 provinces of Turkey by tracked courier or freight. Simply write your province in the delivery province field of the quote form; the full address and shipping method are settled when planning according to quantity and address. For information about your province, you can also look at the province pages on the Service Areas page.
If you notify us before the shipment leaves, the delivery address can be updated; a change after it has left depends on the carrier's procedures and is not always possible. Because the delivery province can affect the shipping method and cost, the quote may also need to be updated if the province changes. Sending the address change at the earliest possible stage, in writing, prevents a wrong shipment.
Before production begins, the quote and the design draft are approved; production does not start without your approval. At this stage the bag's size, fabric and colour, the position and size of the logo, the number of print colours and the one- or two-sided preference are confirmed; quantity, delivery address and requested delivery date are added to these. Since the approved draft forms the basis of production, it is important to catch spelling and colour errors at this stage.
Products
An ultrasonic-welded nonwoven bag is a lightweight, durable and economical type of bag made by joining nonwoven fabric with ultrasonic welding technology, without using thread. It is one of the most popular models for high-volume promotional campaigns.
Because cotton tote bags can be used again and again, they are a sustainable alternative to plastic bags. Their long life keeps your brand visible in everyday life for a long time.
Paper bags are preferred in areas that call for stylish presentation, such as jewellery, gift items, clothing and store packaging. Size and printing options are prepared according to need.
Yes, unprinted bags are also produced wholesale; this is why people who will apply their own label or pattern later prefer models with a plain background. In an unprinted order too, items such as size, fabric, quantity and handle determine the quote; the minimum quantity and terms are settled at the quote stage. It is enough to state clearly in your request that you want it unprinted.
Largely yes: in an ultrasonic-welded bag, the parts are joined by ultrasonic welding or bonding rather than being sewn with thread. The fabric is the same nonwoven as in the stitched tela bag; the difference is only in the joining method. On our product pages, 60 gsm fabric appears for the ultrasonic models. For all the construction details of a model you can look at its product page or ask at the quote stage.
A laminated bag is one where a thin film layer is applied to the fabric surface, making it glossy and generally more resistant to liquid. There are no laminated models in our catalogue. If you have a use that needs water or moisture resistance, mention it in your quote request; let us assess together whether it can be met with the available options.
A gusset is the folded fabric section on the side or bottom of the bag; it gives the bag depth and increases its volume. If you will carry a box, a stack of books or several packages, the bag stands upright and the items sit without falling over. For flat files and brochures, a flat model without a gusset is enough. Of the 171 products in our catalogue with a stated size, 95 are gusseted; the most common gusset sizes are 8 and 10 cm.
In custom production orders, the fabric and colour can be chosen to suit your logo and where it will be used; for ready-made models, the colour options offered by that model apply. Raw cotton has a natural cream tone, while coloured fabric options are for those who want to bring the bag closer to their brand colour. As an exact colour match varies with the fabric, write the colour you want in the request; which shades are possible is settled at the quote stage.
Yes, a pocket can be added to the bag; a pocket is one of the details that can be specified in a custom production order. Where the pocket will sit, its size and what will go in it are discussed with your request. As every extra part means material and stitching labour, the pocket is also reflected in the quote; so decide beforehand whether it is really needed. The details are settled in the quote according to the model and fabric.
Printing and Design
A logo file is not required to get a quote; for printed production, however, a logo file is needed before design approval. Uploading a file in the quote form is optional, and PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF and EPS formats are accepted up to 5 MB. A vector PDF or EPS is the easiest file to work with. The file you upload is not public; it can only be downloaded from the authorised admin panel.
Yes, digital printing is used for photographs and images with colour gradients. Screen printing is not suited to soft gradients, and embroidery does not reproduce fine, photo-like detail well. The image resolution should be high, because a low-resolution file will come out blurry. Since the fabric colour changes the appearance, which method is applied on which fabric is settled at the quote and draft stage.
Any print can wear over time with use, abrasion and washing; how long it lasts depends on the method, the fabric and care. We do not give a figure such as a lifespan or number of washes for durability. In embroidery, the logo is worked in thread rather than ink, so there is no layer of paint on the surface to wear off. Not rubbing the printed surface, and turning the bag inside out and choosing a low temperature when washing, slows wear.
Yes, a QR code is added to the print file as an image, just like a logo. For it to be readable, the code must be large enough, high-contrast and have clear space around it; the texture and folds of the fabric can distort the fine squares. When approving the draft, try scanning it from the screen with a phone, and send the code as a vector or in high resolution. Also make sure the address the code links to stays live for the life of the bag.
Yes, double-sided printing is available; of the products in our catalogue that list print sides, 98 have double-sided printing and 9 have single-sided. The same design or different content can go on both faces; for example, a logo on the front and an address or slogan on the back. Print sides are also one of the factors that affect the price; if your budget is limited, ask for single-sided and double-sided quotes side by side.
Size and Material
Yes, if the ready-made sizes do not suit your needs, bags are produced in custom sizes. The easiest way to describe what you need is to give the width, length and height of the largest item that will go in the bag, together with its approximate weight; also add whether you want a gusset, whether the handle will be carried by hand or on the shoulder, and the quantity. Size and logo placement are checked together at the design stage, and production does not start without your approval.
We do not present nonwoven bags as waterproof; our product pages contain no value or test result for waterproofing or water repellency. Nonwoven fabric has a porous structure and should not be relied on alone in uses where protection against liquid is expected. If your job involves use in rainy conditions or carrying damp items, mention it at the quote stage.
A cotton tote bag is a product that can be washed and reused; how it copes with machine-washing temperature and how the print reacts depend on the fabric and method. We do not state model-specific washing values on our product pages, so please ask about your expectations when requesting a quote. As a general rule, turn the bag inside out, wash it on a delicate cycle at low temperature and avoid the tumble dryer; cotton may shrink slightly in the first wash.
We do not give a single kilogram figure; carrying capacity depends on the stitching, the point where the handle is attached and the size of the bag, as well as the fabric thickness. Our catalogue does not list kilogram information either. If you tell us what you will carry and its approximate weight, we will determine the fabric, handle and size accordingly at the quote stage. For heavy loads such as books or bottles, please say so specifically.
Fabric weight shows how many grams one square metre of fabric weighs. As the number gets larger, the fabric usually becomes thicker and stronger, but the bag takes up more space. In our catalogue, fabric weight appears for two nonwoven fabrics: 60 gsm for ultrasonic-welded bags and 100 gsm for stitched nonwoven (tela) bags. Other weights can be produced and are confirmed in the quote. We do not state fabric weight for cotton tote bags.
For custom production orders, the handle length is planned according to how the bag will be carried; ready-made models are produced with their own handle length. A short handle is needed for carrying by hand and a longer one for hanging over the shoulder; if you also want it not to slip off the shoulder over a thick coat, say so. As we do not publish handle lengths in centimetres, we do not give a figure; just tell us how it will be carried and the bag size.
Yes, stitched or welded bags may show small deviations in size; fabric cutting, seam allowance and the stretching or shrinking of the fabric all affect this. We do not publish a separate tolerance value, so we do not give a figure. If you have a size-sensitive need, such as your product fitting the bag exactly, state it in your request and leave some allowance in every direction. Also remember that the inner dimension will be smaller than the stated outer dimension.
We do not make a definite recycling claim for cotton tote bags. The word recyclable on our product pages is the description of nonwoven and fibre products and is not a separate environmental claim. Whether recycling actually happens depends on the material and on the collection system where you live. Most of the environmental benefit comes from the bag being reused again and again; if you come across an environmental claim, ask which material it applies to and what document proves it.
For heavy items, what matters is not so much the handle type as its width and the strength of the point where it joins the body: a wide handle spreads the load, while a thin one digs into the hand or shoulder. A short handle is comfortable for carrying by hand and a longer one for carrying on the shoulder. Ask at the quote stage which handle constructions can be produced and how the attachment point can be reinforced, together with the approximate weight of the product; we do not give a kilogram value.
Sector and Use
If you will hand out brochures and catalogues at a trade show, a light nonwoven (tela) bag suited to high-volume distribution is usually enough; if you want visitors to carry it for a long time, a cotton tote bag is more lasting. The decision is determined by the distribution quantity, the size of the material to go in, and the number of colours in your logo. Our catalogue also has a Trade Show Bags category; you can get a quote with your quantity and design details.
Since heavy and mixed shopping is carried in supermarkets, a gusseted cotton bag with a strong handle attachment, or a stitched tela nonwoven bag, is considered; for light products, nonwoven can be enough too. Besides size, look at the handle and stitching construction. If you write in the quote what your customers will carry, the model is determined accordingly. Our catalogue has the Grocery Bags, Cotton Grocery Bags and Shopping Bags categories.
First measure the width, length and height of the box; the bag should be wide enough to carry the box upright, and the handle should be able to bear the box's weight. If the box is deep, a gusseted model fits comfortably. The bag is the outer carrier of the box; if you are considering a use in direct contact with food, ask separately about suitability. Our catalogue has the Patisserie Bags, Cotton Patisserie Bags and Baklava Shop Bags categories.
Yes, pharmacies can use bags with a logo to carry the products customers buy and to remind customers of their name; our catalogue also has a Pharmacy Bags category. However, whether the logo and text on the bag count as advertising may depend on professional regulations. Before having the printing done, check with your professional chamber or the relevant legislation. A simple, single-colour logo looks tidy.
Work out the size from the folded dimensions of the product the customer will buy; choose the width and height slightly above it, and add a gusset allowance for thick items. Among the 171 products in our catalogue with a stated size, the most common are 50x40, 30x40 and 45x35 cm; there are also vertical sizes such as 33x45 and 35x45. Custom sizes can be produced for other needs, with the details settled in the quote.
There is no fixed ratio; the number of bags is calculated from registered attendees, the event team and a spare allowance. For example, if there are 500 registered attendees, add the number of staff, volunteers and guests, and leave a small margin for people who may come without registering. For a multi-day event, also decide from the start whether the bag will be handed out every day or only once. An estimated quantity is enough for a quote.
The structure of the logo decides: for plain one- and two-colour logos, screen printing is clear and economical; for multi-colour or photographic designs, digital printing is used; for small logos with clean lines, embroidery looks more prestigious. If the gift feel is to stand out, embroidery or a simple single-colour print can be considered. If you are looking for another method, ask at the quote stage.
Because books are heavy, a stitched bag with a strong handle attachment is needed; a cotton tote bag, or a stitched tela bag made of 100 gsm nonwoven, is considered for this. Choose the size according to the height of the books and the gusset allowance according to the thickness of the stack. As our catalogue has no carrying capacity (kg) data, we do not give a figure; if you write your average load in the quote, we will assess it together.
Use varies by purpose: hotels may prefer cotton tote bags or drawstring backpacks for the beach and pool area, light nonwoven bags for welcome and tour packages, and cotton or paper bags for souvenir sales. Our catalogue has the Hotel Beach Bags and Drawstring Backpacks categories. The choice is determined by the place of use, the distribution quantity and the number of print colours.
The largest item that will go inside determines the size: since A4 paper is 21x29.7 cm, files and catalogues should fit comfortably, and the width and height of the bag should be larger than this. In the products with a stated size in our catalogue, 30x40 and 35x40 cm are common. If a water bottle or a thick booklet will go in as well, consider a gusseted model. The exact size is determined in the quote together with the material you will put in.
First determine the attendee estimate and the distribution points, and calculate the number of bags on that basis with a spare allowance. Outdoors and in crowds a light nonwoven bag is considered, and for a lasting keepsake a cotton tote bag. In public procurement, procedure and specification vary by your institution; writing the size, fabric, number of print colours and delivery province in the specification allows the quote to be prepared properly.
Yes, grocery bags made of durable materials such as cotton and stitched tela nonwoven can be used many times; their life is determined by the fabric, stitching and handle attachment. We do not give a number for how many uses they will withstand, because this depends on the weight of the load carried and how often it is used. If you write your customers' average load in the quote, the right construction is determined together.
First decide the purpose of the gift: it could be a welcome pack, a year-end gift or an event bag. A model the employee will use in daily life is remembered; cotton tote bags and drawstring backpacks are often considered for this. Add a spare allowance to the number of employees, keep the logo simple, and choose embroidery or printing to match the mood of the gift. Size, fabric and quantity are settled in the quote.
Yes, custom production is carried out for sectors such as pharmacies, opticians, patisseries, jewellers or driving schools, with size, fabric, colour and printing determined by the job. The size is set by the product you will carry, and the logo placement according to your brand language. Our catalogue also has separate categories for these sectors. You only need to write what you will carry and the estimated quantity in the quote form.
Purchasing and Quotes
The basic fields in the quote form are full name, company, phone, email, delivery province, estimated quantity and subject; product type, material, size (width x height x gusset, cm), number of print colours, print sides and requested delivery date are optional. The more detail you give, the clearer the quote. You can upload your logo file as PNG, JPG, WebP, PDF or EPS, up to 5 MB.
Tell us about your sample request together with your quote request; whether a sample is possible and its conditions are settled at the quote stage. In the detail message on the form, write which product, fabric and size you would like to see. At the design approval stage you can also ask how the print will look. If seeing the fabric or print before ordering is important to you, saying so at the start makes the process easier.
Write your fabric sample request at the quote stage; whether it can be provided and on what terms is settled then, and we cannot promise it in advance. To get to know the fabric beforehand, the descriptions on the product pages help: the stitched nonwoven (tela) bag lists 100 gsm nonwoven fabric and the ultrasonic-welded bag lists 60 gsm cream-coloured fabric. For cotton tote bags, raw cotton or coloured fabric can be chosen.
First ask who does the work: a manufacturer that does the cutting, sewing and printing in its own workshop is different from a seller who has the order made by someone else. Look at the address and phone details, the product catalogue and the details on the product pages, and ask for the quote in writing. We have been manufacturing in our own workshop in Karatay, Konya since 2013; we do not use intermediaries.
A manufacturer cuts, sews and prints the bag in its own workshop; a seller buys the bag from elsewhere and resells it. The difference shows when you want changes to size, fabric or printing, and in who you deal with when a problem comes up. Our workshop is in Karatay, Konya, and there are no intermediaries. When getting a quote from a seller, always ask where production takes place.
Because quotes often do not price the same product: if the fabric type and weight, size, gusset, handle, number of print colours, print sides and quantity differ, the price will differ too. Whether VAT is included or excluded and who bears the freight also changes the total. Before comparing quotes, put them all on the same terms, and ask for written explanations of any unclear lines.
First decide what you will use it for; the choice depends on the intended use, the load to be carried, the quantity and the budget. For long-term use and jobs that should feel like a gift, woven cotton stands out; for light, high-volume distribution, nonwoven does. Then settle the size, the printing method that suits the number of colours in your logo, and the handle you need. There is no single bag that suits every job.
The basics are fabric type and weight, size (width x height, plus gusset if gusseted, cm), printing method, number of colours and print sides, handle type, and whether the parts are joined by stitching or ultrasonic welding. If any of these is missing on the page, ask the seller for it in writing. Our pages include models that list size, fabric and printing information; you can ask about any detail that seems to be missing at the quote stage.
Do not look at the unit price; look at the total cost for the same specifications: put quotes side by side only when fabric, size, number of print colours and quantity are equal. Then work out each quote's total yourself by adding whether printing, set-up, VAT and freight are included. The lowest figure can be misleading if printing is counted as a separate item or the fabric is lighter.
In the message, write the product type, the fabric and size you would like to see, the number of colours in your logo, the estimated order quantity, the delivery province and the date you want; attach your logo file as well. Ask whether the sample is paid or free, and whether it is tied to an order. With us, the sample matter is raised during the quote, and its terms are settled at that stage.
Check the written quote (items, quantity, unit price, VAT, freight, validity), the approved design file and the order agreement. For the invoice, the company name, tax office and tax number must be complete; we issue corporate invoices. If your use is related to food or health and an additional conformity document is needed, ask about it in writing at the quote stage.
These five questions are useful: Where and by whom is the production done? What items does the quote include? How is design approval obtained? Can the delivery date be confirmed in writing? How do invoicing and freight work? If an answer will only be settled at the quote stage, also ask by what date it will be put in writing. We run the process as request, quote, design approval, production and shipping.
Both should be written on separate lines rather than hidden inside the total: first the amount excluding VAT, then VAT, then freight and the grand total. Who pays for freight, the delivery address and the method of shipment should also be stated. We ship across Turkey by tracked courier or freight; the freight cost and terms are settled at the quote stage.
It should be clearly stated whether printing is included in the unit price of the bag or is a separate item. A proper quote states the printing method (screen printing, digital printing or embroidery), the number of colours and whether it is single- or double-sided; if there is a one-off item such as set-up, it lists that separately too. If you send your logo in advance, these items become clear in the quote.
No, price alone is not enough; the same figure can hide different fabric, printing and delivery terms. Also look at who does the production, how design approval is obtained, whether corporate invoices are issued, and who you will talk to if a problem arises. Because the bag will be the face of your campaign, clear printing and well-planned shipping matter as much as price.
Six headings are enough: purpose of use and quantity; fabric, size and handle; printing method, number of colours and sides; quote items (including VAT and freight); design approval and requested delivery date; invoice and delivery details. Get a written answer for each heading and settle the unknowns at the quote stage. Karaca Çanta prepares a quote with this information.
Unclear information increases delivery risk the most; settle the logo file, size and quantity from the start, and do not delay design approval. Write your requested delivery date in the form, leave a margin before the event day, and ask how this date is confirmed in the quote. Give the delivery province, recipient and phone correctly; with tracked shipment, follow the process using the tracking number.
Put the products or suppliers in the rows and the features you will compare in the columns: fabric and weight, size and gusset, handle, printing method and number of colours, quantity, unit price, VAT, freight and delivery date. Enter in each cell the value taken from the written quote; an empty cell is a question to ask. Keeping the columns in the same order as the fields in the quote form makes gathering information easier.
