How Is a Logo Applied to a Backpack?

The logo is most often placed on the front of the bag, above the front pocket or on a flat area outside the pocket. Screen printing gives a sharp result on one- and two-colour logos; we use digital printing for colour images, and for small logos with clean lines we can also discuss the embroidery option depending on the fabric. Because the weave of the fabric affects the method, we make the decision together with the bag.

The print area varies by bag model; compartments and zips can narrow the suitable surface. If you send your logo as a vector file, we show you in advance which area and what size it will be placed in and get your approval.

Backpack or Drawstring Bag?

Both are carried on the back, but their functions differ. A backpack with compartments has a sturdy, pocketed and orderly structure; it suits carrying a computer, documents and personal items. A drawstring bag is corded and light; it is preferred for simple carrying such as sports clothes and towels and for gifts to be distributed in large numbers.

If you will hand out bags to many people at an event, a drawstring model may make more sense; if you are considering a small number of valuable gifts, a backpack with compartments may. In deciding, just think about your target audience and the budget you will set aside; you can look at the drawstring options in a separate category.

The price varies with the model, fabric, number of compartments and pockets, print method and order quantity. That is why we prepare a quote instead of a fixed list. If you want to compare options within the same budget, you can ask for a quote on two or three models.

At the quote stage, just send the model, quantity, bag colour and your logo. Production begins after your design approval; we check the finished bags and ship them by tracked courier or freight. We work with corporate invoices.

The logo can be applied by screen printing, digital printing or embroidery, and the method is chosen according to the fabric, the number of logo colours and the quantity. We recommend screen printing for one- and two-colour logos and digital printing for multicolour designs.
