Nonwoven is a fabric made by a special process rather than by weaving yarn, from synthetic materials such as polypropylene. Because it is light and offers an even surface, it is often used as a carrier bag; in everyday speech these bags are also called tela bags. The fact that it can be used many times, unlike a single-use plastic bag, keeps it on the agenda of both stores and organisers.
We have been making nonwoven bags in our Konya Karatay workshop since 2013. The fabric weight, the size of the bag, the shape of the handle and the print are your decision. You can choose one of the ready-made models or ask for custom production in your own size. What Is a Nonwoven Bag and What Is It Made From?
A nonwoven bag (also written "non woven bag") is a bag made from non-woven fabric. The fabric is made not by weaving yarn but by a special production method, and consists of synthetic materials such as polypropylene. Because its surface is even and light, it also offers a suitable base for printing.
The parts of the bag are joined by sewing with thread or by ultrasonic welding. The same fabric is used in both; the difference is in the joining method. The Difference Between a Nonwoven Bag and a Cotton Tote Bag
A cotton tote bag is made from a woven cotton fabric; nonwoven, on the other hand, is synthetic and non-woven. The cotton tote bag stands out for its natural look and for being washable and reusable; the nonwoven bag for its lightness and its wide range of sizes and colours. Both can be used many times, unlike a single-use plastic bag.
Which to choose depends on the purpose: nonwoven suits a light bag to be handed out to many people, while cotton suits a bag that has a gift feel and is expected to be used for a long time. Depending on your distribution quantity and budget, we can quote the two options side by side.
How Do You Choose Fabric Weight, Size and Colour?
Fabric weight (gsm) shows the weight, that is the thickness, of the fabric. As the load you will carry increases, a higher weight needs to be considered. On our product pages you can see sewn models in 100 gsm nonwoven fabric as examples; production is also possible in different weights and sizes.
We determine the size according to what will go inside: a small bag for brochures and small gift packages, a wider bag for clothing or boxed products. You can choose the fabric colour according to your logo and corporate colour; the contrast between background and logo determines legibility. We adjust the handle length according to whether it will be carried by hand or over the shoulder.
Logo Printing on a Nonwoven Bag
On the product pages of the nonwoven tela bags in the category, the print method is stated as offset printing. Name, logo, slogan and contact details can be printed on one or both sides; the quote changes as the number of colours increases. We settle which method to use together, after seeing your logo and learning the quantity.
If you have a vector version of your logo, just send it. If not, send your existing image and we will make it print-ready. We submit the draft for your approval and do not start production without approval. If you want to use a multicolour image, just say so from the start.
Where Are Nonwoven Bags Used?
They are used as shopping bags in grocery stores and shops, and as nonwoven promotional bags at events, trade shows and conferences. Being light makes them easier to carry; for events that need many bags, logistics gets easier too.
Size and fabric weight change according to where the bag will be used. A bag given to a trade show participant carries catalogues and brochures; a bag given in a grocery store has to cope with the weight of the products. Wholesale Nonwoven Bag Price and Order Process
Prices are set by quote; quantity, fabric weight, size and the number of print colours affect the quote. The handle and additional details are also included in the calculation. The reason we prepare a quote instead of a fixed list is that no two orders are alike.
You can send your request through the Get a Quote form, by phone or on WhatsApp. Once the quote is approved, we prepare the design and show it to you, then produce the bags and apply the print. Bags that pass inspection set off by tracked courier or freight; we issue an invoice for corporate orders. If the delivery date matters to you, mention it in your first message.
