How is a cotton bakery bag used in a bakery?

The cotton bakery bag is used at the till to carry products already placed in a box or package: cake boxes, packs of savoury pastries and biscuits, boxes of sweets, bread. The customer carries the product comfortably by the handle and does not have to reach under the box. In terms of presentation, it also leaves a more careful impression than a single-use bag.

As the bag is used, your bakery's name goes with it: a person taking a cake to the office or carrying biscuits to a guest also promotes you. It is also possible to add the same bag to gift packages during Bayram and birthday periods.

How Are Bakery Bag Sizes Determined?

The size is determined by the size of your box. Example sizes in the category include 35×40 cm, 30×30×30 cm and 25×35 cm. The cube-shaped size is generally considered for square cake boxes, while flatter, thinner sizes suit packs of biscuits and savoury pastries. Still, the surest way is to measure the box you use and send it to us.

If you sell more than one type of product, you can have two sizes made together: a small bag for packages, a wide and deep bag for cake boxes. We also consider the handle length according to the weight of the box; for heavy products, a sturdy handle and stitching come first.

Raw Cotton or Ultrasonic: Choosing the Fabric

The classic fabric for a cotton bakery bag is raw cotton: the cotton weave, cream tone and plain look go well with bakery brands. Because the fabric can be washed and reused, the bag stays with the customer for a long time. For those who want a different colour and pattern, we also look at fabric options together.

In bakery and bread-shop brands the logo is often one or two colours; in that case screen printing gives a sharp, economical result and is also preferred for high quantities. For a multicolour design or photograph, digital printing comes into play, and for small logos with clean lines, embroidery gives a prestigious look.

The contrast between background colour and logo determines legibility; on cream raw cotton, dark tones are generally easy to read. If you tell us the colours you use in your window display and on your box labels, we can match the bag to the same identity. Sending the vector file of your logo makes preparation easier.

What Does the Wholesale Cotton Bakery Bag Price Depend On?

The price is set by quote. Bag size, fabric type, order quantity, number of print colours and extras such as handle type or a pocket affect the quote. If the same bakery wants bags in two different sizes, it is possible to combine them in a single quote.

When asking for a price, just send your box size, approximate quantity and logo together. If you want to split your bag needs across seasons, we can discuss that at the quote stage too. That is why we calculate by each bakery's product and quantity instead of using a fixed list.

How to Plan a Peak-Season Order

Ordering before periods when bakery trade picks up, such as Bayram, New Year and Valentine's Day, eases planning. The process goes like this: request via the Get a Quote form, phone or WhatsApp, quote, design and approval, production and printing, inspection and shipping by tracked courier or freight.

State in your first message the date by which you need the bags; not delaying design approval directly affects the shipping date. We issue a corporate invoice, and if delivery to several addresses is needed, just mention it in advance.
