Wholesale Bag Supply: How to Place a Corporate Order

Wholesale Bag Supply: How to Place a Corporate Order
Short answer

Wholesale bag supply consists of the steps of settling the need, getting a quote, approving the design, production and printing, and inspection and shipping. Karaca Çanta has manufactured bags without intermediaries in its own workshop in Konya Karatay since 2013 and ships across Turkey with tracked shipping or freight. Corporate invoices are issued. Matters such as price, minimum order quantity, production time and samples are settled at the quote stage.

A corporate bag purchase is often tied to an event, a campaign or an opening. The purchasing manager handles the budget, the schedule and the brand's look at the same time; and the answers from suppliers rarely resemble one another.

In this guide we have gathered the steps of a wholesale bag order, the information to prepare before a quote, honest answers to questions about minimum order quantity, production time and samples, and a checklist you can use when choosing a supplier. What is described is based on the manufacturing work we have done in our workshop in Konya Karatay since 2013.

How Does a Wholesale Bag Order Proceed Step by Step?

A wholesale order consists of five steps, from request to shipping. Knowing what will happen at the end of each step lets you plan your internal approval processes and your distribution in advance. The table below shows what happens at each step and what we expect from you; you can carry a few rows into your own internal calendar and plan your approval correspondence in this order. The process follows the same sequence whichever channel you send the request through.

What Information Should Be Ready Before the Quote?

You can get a quote even without exact figures; still, the clearer the information below, the more accurate the quote. In corporate purchases, having the invoice details and the person who will approve clear from the start also eases the process. We complete any missing items together in the quote discussion, so you can think of the list as a checklist.

  • Approximate quantity or quantity range; whether the need will be bought in one go or in parts.
  • Where the bags will be used: trade show, shop, event, election, gift and so on.
  • Fabric preference: cotton, stitched nonwoven or ultrasonic; if you are undecided, write the intended use.
  • The size you want and what will go in the bag.
  • Logo file (a vector file makes the job easier), number of colours and print sides.
  • The date you need the bags and the province for delivery.
  • Company name and tax details for the invoice.

Minimum Order Quantity, Production Time and Delivery Time

These three questions are the most frequently asked in wholesale bag purchasing. The honest answer is this: we do not give a single figure, because these values can vary with fabric, size, print method and order quantity. All of them are settled at the quote stage, specifically for your order; general figures you hear elsewhere may not reflect your order.

If time is critical for you, write in your first message the date by which you need the bags. That way we can discuss with the quote whether the schedule is feasible. Not leaving the plan to the last minute also makes sure the steps on your side, such as design approval, are completed on time. It is enough to mention in the same message whether you want a sample.

Supplier Selection Checklist

When buying promotional bags in bulk, comparing two quotes by the total amount alone can mislead. Asking for quotes on the same description and putting the questions below to the supplier both reduces surprises and makes the comparison real. You can ask us the same questions; asking for the answers in writing is also a reasonable step in this.

  • Does the supplier produce in its own workshop, or is it an intermediary? Can you talk to the person who makes the product about the decisions you are making?
  • Are the fabric, fabric weight (gsm), size, print method and number of colours clearly written in the quote?
  • Is the design presented for your approval before production?
  • Is a corporate invoice issued?
  • How is shipping done, and can you track the shipment?
  • How does the process work if a defective or missing item turns up?
  • Can a written plan be made for the delivery date?

How Are Bags Shipped Across Turkey?

Our bags are made in our workshop in Konya Karatay and shipped to all 81 provinces with tracked shipping or freight. The shipping method is planned at the quote stage according to the order quantity and delivery address; because the shipment is tracked, you can see where the package is. We also have a separate information page for each province.

If shipment to more than one address is needed, write it in the first message; whether it is possible and how it will be done is settled at the quote stage. For information about your region, you can choose your province from the province list at the bottom of the page. Telling us in advance who will receive the shipment and a reachable phone number also makes it easier for the package to be received.

Common Problems in Bulk Orders

In wholesale bag orders, most problems can come not from production but from small gaps in the preparation stage. The following are problems that often occur in bulk orders and can be largely avoided with a few simple precautions. Most are resolved by writing the first message in a little more detail, approving the draft on time and sharing the date from the start.

  • Sending the logo late or in low resolution; print preparation takes longer and image sharpness falls.
  • Setting the size without thinking about what will go in; the bag ends up either too tight or bigger than necessary.
  • Leaving the delivery date to the last minute; design approval and shipping get squeezed into the schedule.
  • Comparing quotes with different descriptions; a quote that looks low may be missing an item.
  • Not naming the person who will approve from the start; the draft waits inside the organisation.
  • Asking for changes after approval; once production has started, changes become difficult.

Which Bag Type Should You Choose for a Corporate Order?

The choice depends on what the bag will carry and how many people it will reach. For a washable, reusable gift with a natural look, a cotton tote bag; for light, high-volume distribution, a stitched nonwoven or ultrasonic nonwoven bag is considered. On our product pages, stitched nonwoven bags are described as stitched from 100 gsm nonwoven fabric and ultrasonic models as 60 gsm cream-coloured fabric using the ultrasonic bonding technique.

If you are undecided, you can ask for a quote on two fabrics in the same size together. The print method also affects brand visibility: screen printing is applied for one- or two-colour logos, digital printing for multi-colour and photographic work, and embroidery for small, clean logos. Deciding fabric and print together simplifies the quote.
