Cotton Tarhana Bags

Logo-printed bags and pouches for tarhana, dried pulses and regional products, in raw cotton and nonwoven fabric, with drawstring or plain closure.

Promotional bag models

For a business selling tarhana, the bag is the product's most visible packaging: the customer carries it to the kitchen, keeps it on the shelf and sometimes gives it to someone else as a gift. That is why the name on it stays in circulation for a long time. In our workshop in Konya Karatay we make cotton bags and pouches for businesses selling tarhana, dry goods and regional products.

In the category, alongside raw cotton bags, there are drawstring nonwoven pouches and ultrasonic-welded drawstring pouches made from nonwoven fabric. You can set the size according to the quantity of product you will put in, and choose your logo and closure style. Below we have gathered fabric, size, print and the order process; you can ask anything on your mind by phone or on WhatsApp. A photo of your product and its pack size are often enough for a first quote.

What fabric is a tarhana bag made from?

The traditional bag is made from raw cotton fabric; its cotton weave breathes, which is one of the reasons cotton bags are preferred for dry foods. The category also includes nonwoven pouches stitched from nonwoven fabric and ultrasonic-welded drawstring pouches.

Raw cotton gives a natural, traditional feel, and because it can be reused it stays in the customer's kitchen. Nonwoven and ultrasonic pouches are lighter and suit jobs to be distributed in large numbers. If you will use the bag in direct contact with food, share that expectation from the start; let us discuss the packaging requirements of the product to go inside.

How are the size and closure of the bag determined?

The size depends on the pack quantity of the product you will put in: a small sample pack or a family-size pack? Measure the packed product and send it to us, or send a small photo; we will set the width and height of the bag accordingly.

The closure system can also be chosen. Drawstring models close by pulling the cord, are used like a pouch and look elegant as a gift package. With plain-mouth bags, tying the top or thinking of a different closure is possible. We settle which is suitable together by looking at the product quantity.

Print Options for a Bag with Your Logo

On raw cotton bags we use screen printing for one- or two-colour logos, digital printing for multicolour designs and embroidery for small logos with clean lines. On nonwoven pouches we use offset printing. We can place the product name, business name, region and contact details on the front of the bag.

For regional products such as tarhana, a plain logo on the front together with the product name is often enough; since the bag is small, fitting a lot of information reduces legibility. If you send your design, we submit a draft showing how it will look at the bag size for your approval.

Where else is it used besides tarhana?

The bag is not limited to tarhana: products such as dried pulses, coffee or lavender sachets are also put in. Sellers of regional products, boutique businesses and producers give their products to customers in this bag.

Pouches are also preferred for gifts given to guests on days such as weddings, engagements, mevlit and openings; in that case the size is smaller and the print plainer. For other gift options, you can also browse our gift bag category.

What do we plan together for a wholesale purchase?

If you have more than one product, for example if tarhana and pulses need different sizes, we can combine them in a single quote. Applying a single logo to bags in different sizes, instead of a separate design for each product, gives a consistent look and simpler production.

If you tell us from the start when you need the bags, we plan production accordingly. If it is a seasonal product or you are preparing for a trade show or event, finishing the design and size approval early makes things easier.

Price and Order Process

Price is set by quote. Bag size, fabric type used, complexity of the design and order quantity change the price; cost also differs as the number of print colours increases. You can fill in the Get a Quote form, or write by phone or on WhatsApp. Stating the delivery date at the start makes planning easier.

After the quote, we make the design print-ready and show it to you. With your approval we move to production in our workshop in Konya Karatay, check the bags and send them by tracked courier or freight. We issue an invoice for corporate orders.

Frequently asked questions

We apply the logo to raw cotton bags by screen printing, digital printing or embroidery; on nonwoven pouches, offset printing is used.
